Imperium Offers AcoustoCam™ Offline Analysis Tool For
Oil & Gas Market and Aerospace
Imperium, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of the Imperium Analyzer, a PC analysis tool to be used in conjunction with its line of AcoustoCam™ ultrasound imaging cameras. The offline tool allows engineering or inspection personnel to review project scans remote from the acquisition device, providing identical analysis tools as is found on the device itself. Typical analysis includes defect sizing, depth quantification, percentage of defects, and a variety of other code compliant tools. Full waveform capture is provided and all acquired data can be manipulated. Once the analysis is complete, all high resolution imagery as well thickness readings can be exported for viewing in standard software tools.
The patented AcoustoCam™ camera is the only real time C-Scan device on the market. It generates the highest resolution imagery of subsurface defects available. The output allows a non-specialist to instantly view internal corrosion and weld defects on piping or other damage with little training. The POD for defects is among the highest achievable. The device is accepted by Boeing and several other manufacturers and is used in aerospace, petrochemical, and subsea operations.
